CLIENT: N/A | DATE: June, 2019 Set to a "Boards of Canada" track played both forwards and backwards simultaneously, this symphony of color dances in a Non-Newtonian bath. Shot on a macro scale, the movements and interaction of different fluids create a spacey and relaxing visual complement to the disorienting audio. Here you can see both the final video mapped onto my '94 Kawasaki Ninja 500, and below the complete video.
CLIENT: Elemento - P, Light City Baltimore | DATE: April, 2018 Taking another approach to liquids, we set up a macro system to capture intricate movements and interactions. This footage was then set to the song "HALT!" by ELEMENTO-P. This mix of spacey beats and alien-esque womb visuals was selected by Light City in Baltimore (the largest lighting festival in the United States) to run on their "On Demand" screen for the entire run of the event. Check the video below and some footage of it live in Baltimore.  CLIENT: ATR | DATE: December, 2017 Basically this is the anti-liquid visual from our work with L'Orange. With an aggressive new beat titled "Eze" from ATR, we chopped up the liquid footage and spit it back out in order to send the viewer into a deep, dark place. Hold on to your butts.  CLIENT: L'Orange | DATE: November, 2017 An experimental venture into the world of macroscopic liquid interactions. With a track from L'Orange's latest album, he gave me the go ahead to match it seamlessly to the movement and colors of the liquids on hand. We had a really fun time putting this one together and the results speak to that. Enjoy. CLIENT: N/A | DATE: October, 2017 Venturing into more of an art film realm with this project, "Avitae Venae" (meaning 'Ancient Veins') explores liquid interactions up close and personal. Set to Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor," the stark, noir nature of the film gives an eerie and menacing take on the 60's liquid light shows. CLIENT: HOMEBOI | DATE: August, 2017 Deeply ingrained and inspired by the liquid early light shows of the 60's we put a Second Sight Visuals twist on it and looked at liquid interactions on a microscopic level. With dancing colors, bubbles and fluid dynamics all playing a leading role, this five minute experimental film explores a smaller world. Music by Ryan Bouchie of Homeboi. Enjoy.  CLIENT: HOMEBOI, Kill Palace, Weather Check | DATE: March, 2017 I have been planning to use my digital microscope for a show ever since I got it last fall. Luckily I found the perfect opportunity during a show at Day Block Brewing with Kill Palace, Weather Check, and Homeboi. For each band I used the microscope in a different way. During the Kill Palace set I manipulated some disks that I had marbled with colorful paint, for Weather Check I used found slides as the basis for the visuals, and for Homeboi I used liquids like the greats before me to get a range of color and emotion on screen.
